LOL with God is a book. It’s a blog. It’s also a lifestyle.
We want to promote a healthy lifestyle of joyful living. We’re passionate about the truth of Scripture, because knowing God and His Word are foundational to a life of joy. The more we know God, the more we love Him and experience joy in His presence: “… our heart is glad in him, because we trust in his holy name” (Psalm 33:21).
The LOL with God blog is designed to communicate little snippets of truth from God’s “text message” to us, the Bible. It’s also a place to relax and smile. God created our funny bones, and humor can often help us get through a really tough day. Laughter is the best medicine (Proverbs 17:22a) … so we hope you’ll visit often for a fresh dose!

TYNDALE TO RELEASE FALL WOMEN’S DEVOTIONAL
OFFERING HOPE AND HUMOR (Available September 2010)
(Carol Stream, IL) –The perils of text-messaging often make the news, whether it‟s teenagers engaged in risky “sexting” or drivers endangering others when they text on the road.
Co-authors Pam Farrel and Dawn Wilson use the principles of texting to positive advantage in LOL with God, their upcoming devotional from Tyndale House and Focus on the Family. To be released in September, LOL with God provides real-life stories mixed with humor to help women get through hectic days.
“We are avowed texters,” admit the authors. “We send text messages to our husbands whenever we‟re on ministry trips in the U.S. and around the world. We appreciate the „instant‟ quality of text messaging; it‟s one way we keep in touch with those we love. Text-messaging with God – receiving His communications to us through His Word and sending our messages to Him in prayer – is more challenging. It involves more time, thought, and study.”
LOL with God is a collection of spiritually based devotions that direct women caught in the pace of life back to God‟s Word. Sidebars also provide texting etiquette, shortcuts and other practical texting information.
“It‟s our prayer,” Farrel and Wilson comment, “that these texts from God will bring our readers joy, hope and practical help to build their connection to the God who loves them.”
